Houston Defense Attorney
Attorney Jordan Lewis was born and raised in Texas, and he’s never seriously considered living anywhere else. He grew up in Dallas, graduating from Richardson High School in 1998, and again as an Aggie, Class of ’02.
Growing up, one of Jordan’s idols was his Uncle Pat, who was a criminal defense lawyer. Pat’s passion for his
calling—he fought for underdogs, protected citizens’ rights, and stood up to the police—was contagious. Jordan has
known since he was a teenager that this is what he wanted to do, and he even joined his high school mock trial team.
He was right, and to this day he still feels perfectly at home in court.
Throughout law school, Jordan took every opportunity to hone his courtroom skills by participating in almost every
intramural competition offered, and on the competitive Mock Trial and Moot Court teams. In his final year, he was
one of only 12 of his classmates to be inducted into the Order of Barristers, a national organization that
recognizes commitment to, and excellence in, oral advocacy.
As soon as he graduated in May 2008, Jordan went to work for a criminal defense law firm. On the same day that he
officially became licensed as a lawyer, he obtained a No-Bill from the grand jury, which refused to indict a man who
had defended himself and his wife from the off-duty police officer threatening them. It was one of the proudest days
of his life, for several reasons.
Since then, Jordan has given his all to defend every single one of the people who have entrusted him with their
future. He has developed a reputation as a lawyer who will not back down from a fight, trying more than 40 jury
trials before his fifth year of practice, and seeing dozens more dismissed on the day of trial.
When he is not working for you, Jordan likes to spend time with his beautiful wife, energetic son and adorable
daughter, and dog.
